We at Bossier Schools take great pride in being named one of the fastest growing school districts in Louisiana.  The Bossier School System is also recognized for continually exceeding the state average, even garnering international acclaim. Our state assessment scores and graduation rate routinely exceed the state average and our students are high achievers, recognized for performing in the top percentile in Advanced Placement (AP) courses. This has led to Bossier Schools being ranked in the top tier of highest performing school districts in Louisiana and the Department of Education awarding Bossier Schools an overall letter grade of a ‘B.’  Bossier Schools also received accreditation in spring 2016 from AdvancED, the largest international accrediting agency for K-12 schools. In addition, our district was honored to be awarded the highest score of any school system assessed in 2015-16.
