Adults can receive a 30-minute resume assistance session to help with their cover letter, formatting, phrasing, or resources for the interview process.

A physical copy of your current resume is required for review.

Join us on Tuesdays to read fun stories, make neat crafts, and sing and dance! We now meet once in the morning at 10 a.m. Every week there is a different theme around which we pick our books and crafts.

This class focus on basic construction techniques pressing skills,  and techniques. Learn how to use the sewing machine. You also learn how to cut out fabric.

Stories, songs and crafts for kids of all ages.

KINDERGARTEN READINESS

This program is designed for children ages 3, 4, and 5.  A child may join the program after their 3rd birthday.  A child transitions out of the program after their 6th birthday.

We crochet every Friday at 10am.  Whatever level you find yourself on - we would love for you to join us!  

Welcome to Lil' Literacy Learners Storytime!  This storytime is geared towards preschool-aged children where they'll learn to sit, listen, share and communicate with others their age in a fun environment. 

Visit the library for a cup of warm coffee, relax while coloring, or complete a puzzle.

Have fun making climbing robots with us this Saturday. All instruction and materials for this fun, come-and-go engineering project are provided free!

The Benton staff will facilitate an academically-themed, hands-on hour of activities for area homeschooled students. Come enjoy the fun with other students learning, creating, and solving, along with educational presentations, STEAM, crafts, etc.

Sign up for Sit and Fit, a chair exercise that is low impact and low mobility, but helps to keep you active!

Sit and Fit meets on the first Tuesday and third Thursday of each month. For adults only.

Ready to get the wiggles out? Join us for Wiggle Wednesdays every Wednesday at 11 AM for this high energy storytime where we will dance, sing, and read a fun book. 

The Tooke Homeschool STEAM Club meets twice a month. We conduct science experiments, hold engineering challenges, and alternate between more fun activities based around topics like science, math, engineering, etc.

Teens are invited to come and share their interests. Our club will take shape based on topics and activities that interest you!  Come and make friends at the Benton Branch Library! ✨💖🐸

Lucy is a registered therapy dog that children can come and read to with no judgment. She is at our library every 2nd Saturday of the month at 1:00.

Calling all tweens!!! Do you like fantasy and adventure? Come play Dungeons & Dragons with your friends at the library!  

There are so many things you can make with paper. This guided crafting program for school-aged children and teens explores the creative side of this simple medium to make something eye-catching and beautiful. 

Teens can watch new Anime shows and movies, talk about their favorite shows and Manga series, and show off their Cosplay! You don't need to register. Snacks will be provided.
