Enjoy a story read aloud, sing songs, and make a craft or do an activity!

Join us for a special storytime just for baby full of songs, books, and a designated play time, where caregivers can connect with one another while baby explores. 

This event is a school field trip to the library.

It is closed to the general public.

Baby Laptime is a story time enhanced by music, movement, crafts, and other activities. It is geared towards children 0-2 years old.  Guardians MUST stay in the program room.

The story time is approximately 45 minutes.

Preschool Story Time is designed for children ages 3 - 5 years old and their parents, every Friday morning. There will be stories, songs, crafts, and hands on activities with the demographic in mind.

Please join us for an informative program detailing the health benefits of the Mediterranean Diet.

The book for discussion this month is, 'A Man Called Ove', by Fredrik Backman.

Please pick up a copy of the book at the Circulation desk.

Refreshments will be served.

Learn how to knit and discover a relaxing hobby. Join Wendi Lamb as she makes learning to knit fun and easy for anyone. Only two sessions.

Stories, songs and crafts

Tots & Tales is a story time designed for children ages 0 - 2 years & their parents! These sessions will feature stories, songs, and other activities to encourage early literacy, in addition to encouraging level appropriate development.

Join the Children's Department for a non-traditional storytime, full of music and movement!

Children can joy stay and play activities while caregivers get acquainted. 

Where?

Preschool Story Time is geared towards children 3-5 years old.  Age-appropriate book selections are enhanced by music, movement, crafts, and other activities. Guardians are not required to stay in the program room.

Side By Side Saturdays are story times designed for the family. They will take place on Saturday mornings.

Join the E80 Adult Book Club! 

The club meets on the second Saturday of each month at 11 AM. 

Games, egg hunts, stories and etc.

Please come and be a part of our low impact exercise class. This is a fun, energetic experience for all women and men who attend.

There will be refreshments and door prizes.

Discover History In Movies 

When: 2nd Saturday of Each Month @ 1:30pm

Where: Bossier Parish Libraries History Center

Come and go between 2:00 and 4;00 to do some fun activities together with your children.

This month will focus on spring - make a bird feeder, "hatch" a minature bird egg, and make a yarn egg.

Please check out our COME & GO craft/activity time!  A Library Staff member will host this event in the Children's Area.

Painting with Friends is for adults 18 years and older.  Supplies and light refreshments are provided.

Advanced sign-up is required.  Space is limited.

Come and play a game with us! Playing board games and puzzles can help improve cognitive functions such as memory, information retention, problem-solving, and complex situations. Join us for games and fun in the library!

Join us for Pages in the Park, a family storytime that will take place in the Tall Timbers Park located on Hwy 80 in Haughton, LA, not far from the library.

Please come and participate in STEM projects about designing, building, experimenting, and much more!

A book club, just for teens! Instead of having everyone read the same book, we pick a theme for each month. 

Tween Tuesday is a monthly program dedicated to our patrons 9-12 yrs of age!

Attendees will participate in a variety of fun & creative activities designed for their unique age group.
