Enjoy a story read aloud, sing songs, and make a craft or do an activity!

Parent or guardian is required to stay with their children during this program.  Program door closes at 10:05 am.

This event is a school field trip to the library.

It is closed to the general public.

Join us every Wednesday at 10am in the Kids Zone at Bossier Central for Lap Sit Story Time. Stories,crafts,dancing and songs for children 0-2years.

Families have fun learning basic Yoga poses while interacting with a Cosmic Kids yoga You Tube story video.  

Baby Laptime is a story time enhanced by music, movement, crafts, and other activities. It is geared towards children 0-2 years old.  Guardians MUST stay in the program room.

The story time is approximately 45 minutes.

Join us as local authors takeover the Bossier Parish Central LIbrary for a day! We will be kicking off the festivities with an author panel and Q&A.

Saturday Story Time is geared towards children 0-5 years old.  Age-appropriate book selections are enhanced by music, movement, crafts, and other activities. Guardians are required to stay in the program room.

Join us every Wednesday at 11am for songs, stories and crafts for young children, and the young at heart. (Ages 3-5)

Preschool Story Time is geared towards children 3-5 years old.  Age-appropriate book selections are enhanced by music, movement, crafts, and other activities. Guardians are not required to stay in the program room.

If you have any experience with Excel, this class is the next step. We will build upon the basics. Space is limited, so please register by calling 318-746-1693 or stop by the computer lab to sign up.

The Bossier Parish Registrar of Voters will be at Bossier Central to help anyone who wants to register to vote!

A representative from the Registrar's office will be available in the Library to assist citizens with voter registration and answer questions concerning voting.  Information will also be available for the Over Age 65 voting by mail progr

Crazy 8's Math Club is geared towards grades K thru 2 and a class size of 12 - 16 children.  The lessons and activities show math is fun!
