Dr. Gary Joiner is Professor of History at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where he holds the Mary Anne and Leonard Selber Professorship in History, and serves as Chair of the Department of History and Social Sciences, the Director of the Strategy Alternatives Consortium, and as Director of the Red River Regional Studies Center.
