Event Details

Bossier Parish Libraries invites you to join us at our Tooke Branch to view the 2017 Solar Eclipse. This event is FREE and open to all ages.

While we will not be experiencing a total solar eclipse in Bossier, we'll still have an opportunity to watch the moon take a huge chunk (0.83 magnitude) out of the sun.

Start of Partial Eclipse - 11:46am
MAXIMUM ECLIPSE - 1:17pm
End of Partial Eclipse - 2:46pm

Attendees will receive eclipse viewing glasses and can participate in free activities such as: cookie decorating, scavenger hunt, chalk art, making wind streamers, making solar nature prints, and UV bead bracelets.

Food/snacks will be provided.
