The annual Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Pet Parade is held at Reeves Marine during Mardi Gras season. Please plan to attend and join in the FUN. Bring your pets, children, and all of your family and friends.  Parade day activities, including the judging of registered pets for prizes in such categories as “Best Dressed,” “Best Float,” “Best Interpretation of Theme” and “Pet/Owner Lookalike,” will begin at 1 p.m. The parade typically marches at 3 p.m.

Bossier Parish Libraries Community Engagement is excited for this event that is always a fun time.  Join us as we will be providing a free craft activity for kids, offering live demonstrations of our online services (including our brand new app!), and signing people up for library cards.  We just may even have treats!
