In partnership with the Department of Homeland Security and the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education, Dr. Chuck Gardner, the director of curriculum for the Cyber Innovation Center (CIC), in Bossier City, will be hosting a talk regarding cybersecurity careers on a national and local scale, and what we’re doing in Bossier classrooms to support the education of students towards those opportunities. Learn how students are being taught to embrace 21st Century Skills and to consider all of the opportunities that await them after they finish school. In addition to working with K-12 education, the CIC is partnering with Bossier Parish Community College, Louisiana Tech University, and CSRA to help adults who may be thinking about transitioning into a career in cyber. Learn about some of the exciting opportunities that are available right here, to residents of Bossier and Caddo.
