Summer Reading at BPL

Build a Better World:  Building a Better Bossier

#BeBossier

What is Summer Reading?

Summer reading programs help build reading skills, promote literacy, prevent summer learning loss in children by encouraging reading during the summer months, and prepare children for a successful school year ahead. This is accomplished by weekly programs and events for all ages.  Participants keep a reading log of their reading habits and receive prizes for reaching milestones.
