Getting Started with NetLibrary

new Updated 4/11/2008

(1) Click on the eAudiobooks image shown in the left column and enter your BPL library card number and pin number.

eAudiobBooks - Coming Soon@

(Your pin number is the last four digits of your library card number unless you have changed it.

In addition, as long as you use the same computer when you login this first time, then this is a one-time process.)

(2) Next, visit the Bossier Parish Libraries Online Catalog.

(3) Conduct your own search for an eAudiobook or use the keyword "netlibrary" to obtain a complete list of all eAudiobooks available for downloading. (New titles are added each month.)

(4) Once you have found the eAudiobook of your choosing, if you haven't already done so, open the item's full record.

(5) At the bottom of that record, you should see a section called "Electronic Resources", double click the web link beside it. You should then be forwarded to the record for that item on the NetLibrary website.

(6) Now, next to the item's title and/or cover art, you should see a link that will allows you to start the download process (if desired).

(7) Prior to downloading, you will be asked to either sign into your NetLibrary account or to create a free account with NetLibrary.

(PLEASE NOTE that this is different from your BPL library card login information. In addition, this is a one-time NetLibrary account setup.)

Happy downloading!!!
