The title caught my eye because it's written by a Louisiana author. It is a good old fashioned ghost story set in New Orleans. The novel flows back and forth between the 1920s to present day. The reader makes or breaks the audio version. This was narrated by Rebecca Gayheart and this is one of the best audios I have listened to in a long time.
