As manager of Aulds library, I am proud to welcome you to our beautifully renovated facility.  We are located at 3950 Wayne Ave. in South Bossier, just off Hwy 71, in the Shady Grove subdivision.

Whatever your age or interest, there’s something for you at Aulds library.  Our collection contains over 40,000 items.  You will find printed books, audio books, DVDs, magazines and newspapers.   In addition, books and research articles are located and borrowed from libraries throughout the United States via the Interlibrary Loan service.

Our computer lab has 16 computers with Internet and Microsoft Office (4 of these are in the children’s area).   Also, the library is wireless accessible.  A typewriter is available.

You will find our Children Services to be exceptional and are as follows:

Storytime is on Tuesday mornings at 10:00, September - April, for ages 3 – 5 years.

Summer Reading Program is on Fridays, during June and July, for ages 6 – 12 years.

The meeting room is available for public meetings of a civic, cultural or educational character or for use by non-profit, lawful, non-commercial purposes.

I have been on staff at Aulds library since 1989 and have been the branch manager for the past 7 years.   In my experience, I feel confident in saying that Aulds library is one the best things that has happened in South Bossier.  Come in and check us out!

Sincerely,

Ellendell Harbour (Send an email to Ellendell!)
